St David’s Feast Day

We will be celebrating St David’s Feast Day with a short pilgrimage from Porthclais well (10:00am departure in Porthclais car park) to St Non’s well where we will join the pilgrimage from St Davids Cathedral (11:15am).  From the well, we will walk to the Oriel y Parc to see the St Davids Day stone followed by a procession to the Cross for further blessings and song.  The celebrations end with a service in the Cathedral.

Pilgrimage: St Aidan’s Way Highlights

JourneyingFollow in the sixth century footsteps of St Aidan as he travelled through Co. Wexford, from Ferns to Our Lady’s Island on his way to meet St David of Wales. Rather than walk the whole 95km pilgrimage route, you walk the highlights, to allow more time to explore the places of special interest along and walk the parts that are most scenic, quiet and enjoyable. This journey is likely to be next offered in 2027.
