The Old School Hostel is an ideal pilgrim abode situated right on the trail, in the heart of the village of Trefin. There are 6 bedrooms which sleep from 2 to 7 so ideal for singles, couples or families / groups. Each of the bedrooms has it’s own en-suite shower and there are shared toilets along the corridor.
It is a no-frills home from home with an extremely well stocked kitchen with food for self-made breakfasts and adjoining the kitchen is a comfortable sitting area. The owners of the hostel also own and run the 200-year old Ship Inn in Trefin with excellent food so you also have somewhere for an evening meal. It is recommended that you book a table in the busy months. As it is such excellent value, OSH is a good choice for a longer stay in the area.
